<p>Helpings in America are just too large! Restaurants just put too much food on the plate, plus most of the time the food isn&#8217;t that healthy to begin with. It just spreads to the home too. Are servings are just too large. To lose weight you need to eat, but you need to eat smaller portions, plus you need to eat more times throughout each day, but most importantly, you need to be eating healthy calories, not unhealthy calories.</p>

<p>It seems many have lost their way over the past 40 or so years. Fad diets seem to popup almost on a weekly basis and people still fall for them, but there is a larger segment of the population that are now waking up to their false promises and looking to better nutrition for the answer to their weight loss problems.</p>
<p></p>
<p>One needs to look at fad diets with some common sense. Once you finish with the fad diet, how can you expect to keep the weight off when you go back to eating all of the foods that got you fat to begin with? Amazingly, many people think that you can, but there is no miracle fad diet or weight loss pill that can do that for you!</p>
<p>Fad diets do exactly what they are designed to do. They tempt you into believing they are the answer to your weight problems, only to leave you gaining weight once you go off of the fad diet. The only winner is the creator of the fad diet. They just keep getting richer and richer as you keep getting fatter and fatter.</p>
<p>With 40 billion dollars being spent each year on health fitness and weight loss, I know people must care about their health, but the problem is that most people are looking in the completely wrong direction. Fad diets are not the answer to weight loss and good health, looking at weight and health in the eyes of proper nutrition is the answer.</p>
<p>What most people don&#8217;t pay any attention to is how healthy you will be once you are in your 50&#8242;s, 60&#8242;s, and beyond. When you are 24, you really don&#8217;t give it much thought. But in reality, that is the time when you really should be looking at your overall health as you age. The better you take care of yourself now, the healthier you will be later, plus, the side effect is that you will no longer have any weight issues if you are taking better care of yourself. At least that is how it is for me!</p>
