Stress and Blood Pressure

by admin on May 27, 2009

Stress and Blood pressure are not a good combination. Bad Stress and extremely stressful situations will raise Blood pressures and also can be the cause of some high blood pressure reading in us, our children and our grandparents. When we allow others to control our lives and this is not what we desire, then it causes a situation that will cause our blood pressures to raise and this is a serious situation for our bodies and of our loved ones. We need to take charge of our lives and be in control and this is not as easy as it seems.

Stress relief can be improved with exercise of several different kinds. Why do you think children love a trampoline so much? It is a place where they can jump and fly, shout and sing with all their lungs capacity. Have you ever tried jumping on a trampoline without enjoying a good laugh with your children and grandchildren? Did you feel the results of jumping when you got down off of it? Exercise releases chemicals in your body that help relax you, laughter relaxes the mind and body also and it also helps the body to release the toxins from our systems.

Dancing is another form of exercise if you don’t have access to a trampoline. Put your favorite music on and turn up the volume a bit while doing the household chores. Put your favorite headphones on and go for a brisk walk. Going out dancing with friends and family is excellent exercise and brings laughter and is very relaxing. Music is great for the heart, soul and minds of all of us.

Let’s lower our high blood pressure and take some stress out of our lives by trying to enjoy life more, laugh more, exercise more. Stress and blood pressure will not control us anymore.
