Out of Control Inflammation

Out of control inflammation can set off heart disease, several types of cancer and diabetes so lets look at some was to combat this inner turmoil that we have brewing inside of our bodies. There is approximately a third of our population here in the United states with some kind of inflammatory disorder.

What causes an out of control inflammation in our bodies?  It is our immune systems out of control and therefor doing damage to our healthy tissues and organs. What are we doing to our bodies eating all those sugar loaded desserts, junk foods and drinks? There is very little of any in all those saturated fatty foods we consume daily either and they have a tendency to clog veins and arteries causing more inflammation.

Let’s consider some healthy food ideas so that we can control that out of control inflammation to prevent and reverse the damage we are doing to ourselves. First, lets eliminate lots of the fast processed foods, all those starchy foods, greasy animal products and add the good fats, raw foods, whole grain products and increase our omega-3’s.

Lets cook with oils such as olive oil, flax seed, coconut oils, to name a few healthy fats. Lets eat our potatoes with the skins on, lets add those organic seeds and nuts, legumes, extra lean meats. some of the olive family, and yes, we can have a glass of wine that isn’t overly sweetened. Fix lots of fresh raw vegetables and raw fruits of kinds and every color we can find.

Begin your day with some whole grain cereal and fresh fruit and you will already have cut down on lots of added sugars and junk foods such as donuts and cinnamon roll. Add fresh fruits and fresh vegetables to the rest of your day, every day and learn how to control your out of control inflammation that you don’t even realize it until you have health issues. When a healthy diet is followed, our bodies can take care of themselves, boosting our immune system to fight off all kinds of diseases, colds and flu and obesity.
