Hypertension is serious and so education is needed for us to be and
stay healthy. Heredity and eating habits are two of the most common
reasons for having hypertension.

Constant elevation of blood pressure is what is called hypertension. Our
blood pressure can rise under pressure, but its that constant elevated
blood pressure that is serious. Most of the time we don’t even realize
that we have hypertension until we have our annual check-ups or if we
happen to stop by one of those blood pressure machine to test.
Anything above 120/80 is a concern and means that your
hypertension is serious and needs attention immediately.

An informed person can make a change in their eating habits, their
exercising or not, their sodium intake, as hypertension is serious
enough to cause damage to our kidneys, our hearts in the form of
strokes and heart attacks and brain hemorrhages.
