Heart health is important! Get serious about your heart health matters before you become a statistic of the ’silent killer’ heart disease that happens in any given moment for those whose diets don’t include the healthy omegas necessary for its health.

What are the Omega’s that are so necessary to keep the heart health? Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid that our bodies must have for excellent health and we can’t make it. We need to either find a good supplement and or eat foods that are great sources such as several kinds of fish, several nuts and some plants contain it.

Some fish are loaded with mercury so are not healthy for us so we need to watch for that and eat the healthy salmons that are not farm-raised. Other fish supplying the Omega 3’s are mackerel, tuna, herring and swordfish and be careful of the mercury content here as well. Fish oils are sometimes full of mercury so I think it is best to find other foods to supplement our heart health such as chia seeds found in our health food stores and Walnuts are a great source of Omega 3.

There are other Omega’s such as omega 6 and we need to keep our omega’s balanced, for instance , we need about 4 times the amount omega 6 as we do the omega 3. The Omega 3 is our omega that reduces the inflammation and when we overdo the omega 6 we can add to our inflammation disorders.

Our diets contribute to a lot of our inflammation disorders and therefore affect our heart health. When we eat foods that are raw we include another Omega-Omega9 another fatty acid. This omega helps with the lowering the risks of heart disease and even cancers.

When we overeat too many red meats and not include lots of raw fresh fruits, raw vegetables and the grains that are high in Omega 3, we cause an imbalance and then inflammation affects our hearth health.

Some heart health issues include high cholesterol, high blood pressures, diabetes, poor circulation of our blood to name just a few problems that we experience when our Omega’s are out of balance.
