Healthy Blood Pressure Tips

by admin on May 18, 2009

Healthy blood pressure tips for you to consider would be to have it checked every year although some say ever 2 or 3 years. I like to stay on the Healthy side of things so have it checked yearly. If a problem shows up you will definitely need more of ten checks.

Did you know that when the hot weather is here your blood pressure seems to go down some due to bloods vessels opening up then and blood pressure seems to be higher in cold climates?

What is a healthy number for blood pressure? 120/80 or is it now thought to be the pre-hypertensions stage? 140/90 seems to be Stage one hypertension so you see blood pressure needs to be at least 120/80 or lower for us to be at our best.

High blood pressure can lead to all sorts of issues, such as damaging the blood vessels, increasing our risk of strokes, and probably kidney disease.

It seems the older a person gets and the overuse of salt in our diet, a teaspoon of sodium(salt) is enough to cause fluid build-up in our systems and this affects blood pressure also.

Pay attention to your diets and include lots of raw fruits, raw vegetables, raw garlic and raw onion to your daily meal plans. Supplements help but raw is always best for us.

What tips to do have to offer me?  Am anxious to hear from you!
