Drop Blood Pressure with laughter, are you kidding me? It is a fact that by laughing at a good joke or laughing with someone can actually increase the Blood flow to the heart by as much as 26% and this is done because the vessel diameter increases with a hearty laugh. It releases endorphins into our blood, just like listening to your favorite music does for you also.

Heart Health Manhattan
www.drjenniferwalden.com A study was recently conducted at the University of Maryland which showed that when people listen to music they like, their vessel diameter increases by 26%, increasing blood flow to the heart. Dr. Jennifer Walden, a plastic surgeon in Manhattan, adds that listening to pleasant music increases endorphins, and that laughter has the same effect to the heart.
Laughter is really good medicine for reducing or to drop blood pressure, increasing the size of our blood vessels to allow blood to flow more easily throught our veins and helps prevent strokes as well. Humor is a much needed in our lives these days especially with all the negative news, negative talking amongst our friends and families and with all the job loss our familes are enduring. Humor and laughter are contagious. Have you ever listened to young children having fun and getting the giggles and just hearing that will cause you to laugh with them? Isn’t that a great feeling to have?
