Damages Done by High Blood pressures are very serious matters for our health and living life to its fullest. Why don’t we take a look at some of these issues here today to educate ourselves more on how serious high Blood pressure can be for us at any age? This is why high blood pressure is at times, called ‘The Silent Killer”, and has no respect for any age group.
Kidney failure- because it narrows the blood vessels leading to the kidneys.
Blindness- our blood vessels in our eyes may burst and causing bleeding, therefore, terribly bloody looking whites of our eyes.
Heart Attacks- our heart may enlarge, some may get larger, some get weaker and don’t pump blood as freely. When this happens to our heart it can’t pump enough blood throughout our bodies.
Narrowing of the arteries- this limits the blood flow to the main areas of our body such as our hearts, brain, kidneys and our legs. This can be the reason for heart attacks, all kinds of strokes, kidneys to fail us and then be as serious also of a leg amputation or a part of it.
Aneurysms- can become an issue is our blood vessels. Aneurysms are a bulging of our blood vessels and when this happens it weakens our blood vessels and high blood pressure can force these weakened spots to burst. Our main artery is usually where these aneurysms form and it is the one supplying blood from our heart to the whole body, our legs, intestines, brain and also carries our blood to our spleen.
